DescriptionCavalry Foot Soldier seems to have no armor and takes full (or seemingly more) damage. No patch notes listing this as intentional.
Steps To ReproduceSimply play as cavalry on foot. Damage seems to be the same as infantry and/or sometimes more.

It feels like you take much more damage than normal infantry now.
This makes the cavalry class useless now.

Hey, I can confirm this. It doesn't seem that cavalry on foot has any health bonus anymore. I thought I missed a nerf, but couldn't find anything, but good to see that I am not the only one noticing it.

So what does "Reviewed" mean? Was it reviewed and could not be confirmed? Or is it still being reviewed? (I am new to this bug tracker)

By the way, maybe the health on horse is also reduced. It is difficult to tell without proper testing because when people firing on cavalry on the ride they usually hit both, the rider and the horse. You may check this too.

Yes, what about a note from a dev/moderator? Are you investigating this? This was reported over a month ago...

I will encourage other players/cavalryman to come here, maybe they listen when more players complain.

Okay so since no dev so far felt obliged to shed some light into darkness, here is what I found after extensive research:

FIRSTLY, it seems there were changes made that were not listed in the patch notes, which totally sucks!

Here are some statements of devs, or at least people with "DICE" tag:

"There was a change to how much damage is taken so limbs took less damage and chest did more damage. We undid the change to the chest so that will go back to the way it was before. Taking less limb damage will remain which means overall you should take less damage if you spawned on the horse. That change won't be in The name of the Tsar patch but the patch after that."

Doesn't seem to be true to be honest, maybe they changed their mind before implementing this?

"The reason for this change is mainly so we can increase the armor of a cavalryman on horseback without making them tougher than an elite when on foot.
On foot you're much less exposed, and it's easier to pick up your own bandages. The armor can already make it frustrating to face a cavalryman on foot.
On horseback you're a much easier to hit target, and much less agile. More armor would be great there, but when it also applies on foot as well it's problematic. Activating the armor only when on horseback means we can make cavalry stronger on horseback than on foot, and it means we can make the armor stronger than it ever was before."
