|Summary||0002717: Instant bayonet takedown without charge|
I have noticed it is possible to trigger a bayonet takedown without starting or completing a bayonet charge. I believe this is because of the range required to start the takedown animation.
If a player is within the required range to trigger a bayonet takedown this will happen automatically without starting or completing the bayonet charge. This means it can easily be exploited because verses a usual frontal melee (which is just a slash attack) there is no avoidance of the bayonet takedown. This can be exploited by standing close to a corner and triggering a bayonet attack as enemies emerge around the corner.
You can see clearly in slow motion and on normal speed that the user was already running before entering bayonet kill animation
reopening this. 0m bayonet charges still occuring.
